The Home Education Music group is a lively, involved hour of ensemble music-making for home-educated children aged 7-11. Parents are welcome to sit in, sing along, or even pick up an instrument themselves! The group welcomes children of all musical abilities, from beginner level to graded musicians. There are also instruments available to use at the weekly ensembles, however you can also choose to hire your own instrument from Music on Sea’s instrument hire scheme!
The fee to join this group can be further subsidised up to 50% for applicants who are eligible as detailed in the policy conditions detailed on our website. We also offer support for Looked After Children (LAC) or Post-Looked After Children (PLAC) to access fully subsidised lessons.
If you would like to join our Home Education Music Group, then please reach out to musiconsea@southend.gov.uk to enquire!
